Lita Rich

Lita Rich was born in Taiwan in 1996. Coming from a deep classical music training background, Lita Rich has expressed her artistic nature across multiple platforms since childhood.

While devoting herself to the piano and pursuing a career as a concert pianist, she developed an early love for visual creation through paper crafts, drawing, and painting.

As her musical journey unfolds, visual art remains an important space where she can translate emotions from life experiences and musical inspirations into shapes, colors, and visual forms.

When attending the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Lita started exploring and developing her own visual style. Her artwork reflects the same sensitivity, discipline, and storytelling she brings to the concert stage: a blend of precision and spontaneity rooted in her classical foundation yet alive with imagination.

Lita’s work captures the relationships between herself and the people who hold a special place in her life while also exploring themes of identity, movement, and inner landscapes.

A signature element in her drawings is the human eye, a symbol of connection that makes meaningful relationships possible.

Lita continues to develop her visual practice alongside her performing and teaching career, creating pieces that speak to resilience, beauty, and the holistic interconnectedness of all art forms.

Lita lives and works between New York City and Taipei.
